A message from the Acting Head of Primary School
Dear Primary School Community
Friday’s email from our Principal, Ms Roseanne Maddern, informed the community that Mr Jason Keenan will be leaving St Mark’s at the conclusion of this term. I wanted to take a moment to thank Jason for the dedication he has shown as a Junior School staff member.
Mr Keenan has been a valued member of our Primary School community for the past three and a half years and, during this time, has made a profound impact on students, staff and families alike. His kind and compassionate nature, combined with his willingness to roll up his sleeves and support others whenever needed, has made him an incredibly respected and appreciated member of our community.
Since Term 4 last year, Mr Keenan has served in the Acting Deputy Head of Primary role. In this position, he has thrived, demonstrating thoughtful leadership, care for students and staff, and a deep commitment to the life of the school. His success and enjoyment in the role has led him to accept the position of Deputy Head of Primary at St James’ Anglican School.
While Mr Keenan is excited by this new opportunity, he has shared how difficult the decision to leave the St Mark’s community has been. His connection to our students, families and staff is something he has valued greatly throughout his time here.
On behalf of the entire St Mark’s community, I would like to sincerely thank Mr Keenan for all he has contributed to the life of our school. We are deeply grateful for his service, leadership and care, and we wish him every success and happiness as he begins this exciting new chapter next term.
Kind regards
Mark Pressley
Acting Head of Primary
