A message from the Acting Head of Primary School
Dear Parents and Carers
Thank you to all our ELC and Junior School parents who attended the recent Meet the Teacher evenings. These are key dates in our school calendar because a successful school is built on strong, collaborative relationships — between teachers and students, and just as importantly, between teachers and parents. Taking the time to meet your child’s teacher and gain a sense of their professionalism, dedication, and warmth is an essential foundation for a positive and productive year ahead.
This term also provides valuable opportunities for individual Parent/Teacher meetings. These conversations allow teachers to share how your child has settled into their new year level and to discuss their progress across the various learning areas. They are an important chance to celebrate successes, identify next steps, and strengthen the partnership that supports each child’s growth. We hope that all parents will make themselves available for these interviews, as they play such an important role in supporting every child’s success.
Below is a summary of the timing for Parent/Teacher meetings across year levels. Further details about the booking process will be shared closer to the dates:
- Kindy: Currently in progress
- Pre-Primary: Week 6
- Year 1: Week 5
- Years 2–5: Weeks 8 and 9
