Summer is a Future Leader

Congratulations to our Year 11 Student, Summer Reid, and the other 17 participants who graduated from the Future Female Leaders Program on Friday Night!

It's truly inspiring to see young women like Summer engaging in programs that empower and equip them with the skills, experiences, and conversations needed to become the leaders of tomorrow. Future Female Leaders' six-month program focuses on UN Sustainable Development Goals and the creation of social impact projects. It is a fantastic way to encourage young minds to think globally and take action to address critical issues.

Summer's 'Summer Reads' project, which repurposes books to provide escapism and support for those experiencing homelessness and domestic violence, is not only creative but also deeply meaningful. It reflects a genuine commitment to making a positive impact on the community and the world.

The Future Female Leaders Program's ability to help participants push past obstacles, learn about themselves, and develop as young leaders is invaluable. It's clear that the courage, ambition, and authenticity demonstrated by Summer and her fellow participants are qualities that will continue to serve them well as they pursue their goals and make a difference in the world.

This is just the beginning of Summer's journey, and the world can look forward to the positive change she will bring about.

Congratulations once again to Summer; we are extremely proud of your achievements and can't wait to see the Summer Reads journey!
