R U OK? Day at St Mark’s
Earlier this month, our St Mark’s community came together in meaningful (and yes, delicious!) ways to shine a spotlight on an important message: checking in with one another really matters.
- Morning Kick-off: Our Executive and Wellbeing teams greeted families at drop-off with smiles, encouragement, and Kit Kats – a gentle reminder to pause, connect, and take a moment for each other.
- Sharing Beyond the School Gates: Our Year 12s stepped out into the wider community at Westfield Whitford City, handing out flowers and Kit Kats to shoppers. Their small gestures of kindness carried a big message: everyone deserves to feel noticed and supported.
- Staff Connection: Our staff were treated to cupcakes – a sweet little symbol of the care and collegiality that make St Mark’s such a special place to work and learn.
- Student Involvement: In the Junior School, stickers and positive messages filled classrooms and hallways, while PCGs across the Secondary School reinforced why simply asking “Are you OK?” can make such a difference.
R U OK? Day may be one day on the calendar, but its message is timeless. By taking the time to ask, listen, and connect, we show each other that no one has to face life’s ups and downs alone.
So, let’s keep the spirit of today alive all year round – because a simple question, asked with genuine care, can change someone’s day.
