New Business Manager Announcement

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

I trust that everyone was able to find some time to relax and refresh over the school holidays.

At the end of Term 2 we were excited to share the news of Mr Darren McPartland’s appointment as the 5th Principal of St Mark’s Anglican Community School. Darren will commence at the beginning of 2027 having served as Principal of St Peter’s Anglican College, Broulee, NSW for nine years. Darren has a long-standing connection to St Mark’s, he commenced his teaching career here in 1991 and was a parent of St Mark’s for a period of time before becoming the Principal of St Peter’s. It is with great pleasure that we announce a further significant appointment to the Executive Leadership Team at St Mark’s Anglican Community School, Mrs Lee Krug as the new Business Manager.

Lee is an experienced and highly motivated Chartered Accountant and Financial Manager, bringing more than 30 years’ experience across finance, business management and education. She joins us from Lake Joondalup Baptist College, where she is a member of the Leadership Team in the position of Head of Business and Operations. In her current role she provides strategic advice, financial planning and management, operational leadership of the school's commercial activities across key areas including Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, ICT, Risk Management, Marketing and Enrolments, Capital Development and Facilities.

Throughout her career, Lee has demonstrated a strong understanding of the complex operational, compliance and strategic needs of contemporary schools. She has worked closely with executive teams and boards to align business strategies with financial goals, while managing complex projects and supporting effective decision-making.

Her leadership across business development, compliance and stakeholder engagement, together with her focus on practical, best-practice solutions, will be a great asset to St Mark’s.

Lee is passionate about young people and education and is excited to be joining the St Mark's community. She will commence at St Mark’s on Monday, 12 October 2026; please join me in warmly welcoming her to the St Mark’s community.
