Kristian Hoogenkamp Memorial Match & Inspire Cup Raffle
In August, our school community came together in a truly special way for the Kristian Hoogenkamp Memorial Match and the Inspire Cup Raffle. Together, we raised over $3,000 for Sock It to Sarcoma!, in loving memory of our Class of 2020 student, Kristian Hoogenkamp.
The match was a highlight of the day, with Kristian’s family taking part in the pre-game coin toss and many of his school friends and fellow alumni joining us on the sidelines to cheer on the teams. The atmosphere was one of camaraderie, laughter, and heartfelt remembrance. In an entertaining showdown with some questionable skills, Robson’s Elite came away with bragging rights over the Howarth Hawks.
The Inspire Cup Raffle also wrapped up with huge success, thanks to the incredible generosity of our families and local businesses. With all winners contacted, we want to give a heartfelt thanks to our wonderful community for buying tickets, showing off those crazy socks, and making donations.

Every dollar raised goes directly to Sock It to Sarcoma!, helping fund research and support for families affected by sarcoma. This event was held in loving memory of Kristian, who bravely battled rhabdomyosarcoma in 2019. Though he lost his fight, his courage, strength, and spirit continue to inspire all who knew him.
