Graduates Share Real-World Insights Ahead of Careers and Pathways Expo

As a prelude to our Careers and Pathways Expo, Year 10 students had the opportunity to hear firsthand from three very recent St Mark's graduates about their own post-school journeys.

We were delighted to welcome back Skye, Hannah and Tia from the Class of 2025, who generously shared their experiences of navigating subject selection, pathway decisions and life beyond school.

The panel discussion provided students with valuable insights into the "how", "why" and "what to expect" when choosing a pathway. Drawing on their own experiences, the graduates spoke openly about the factors that influenced their decisions, the challenges they encountered, and the opportunities that have emerged since leaving St Mark's.

For our Year 10 students, who are beginning to consider future study and career options, hearing from graduates who were sitting in their shoes only a year ago made the advice particularly relevant and relatable. The discussion highlighted that there is no single pathway to success and that plans can evolve as new opportunities arise.

Now pursuing their own goals and ambitions beyond school, Skye, Hannah and Tia reflected on where they are today and offered practical advice to students preparing to make important decisions about their senior school years.

We thank Skye, Hannah and Tia for returning to St Mark's to share their experiences and inspire the next generation of students. Their honesty, encouragement and willingness to answer questions provided an invaluable contribution to the evening and set the scene perfectly for our Careers and Pathways Expo.
