Chopped, Shaved and Cut

St Mark’s came together in an incredible show of community spirit for this year’s World’s Greatest Shave in support of the Leukaemia Foundation, with students and staff stepping up to make a real difference.

A total of 41 students took part by cutting, colouring or shaving their hair, alongside two staff members who also joined in. A highlight of the day, as always, was Mr Brock bravely handing over the clippers to a student, this year resulting in a completely bald head… except for a rather questionable fringe that certainly got people talking!

Adding to the buzz, our Prefects and Year 12 leaders hosted a bake sale at recess, helping to drive even more support for the cause.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised just over $19,000, an outstanding effort that will go towards supporting those impacted by blood cancer through the Leukaemia Foundation. There’s still time to contribute, so if you’d like to get involved, head to the donation link and help us push that total even higher.

A huge well done to everyone who took part, donated or supported the day, it’s a powerful reminder of what we can achieve together.
