Art in Perspective

We’re thrilled to share that one of our talented Year 12 students, Isabella, has been accepted into Pulse Perspectives at the Art Gallery of Western Australia for exhibition in 2026. This is a remarkable achievement, Pulse Perspectives showcases the very best Year 12 ATAR Art from across the state, making selection highly competitive and truly something to celebrate.

Isabella’s artwork, a striking triptych titled “Taking Off”, features three paintings in acrylic and oil on canvas. The work explores her family’s migration from Malaysia to Perth across three generations, her grandmother, her mother, and herself. She expresses this story through the image of the Kingfisher, a symbol of movement and renewal, taking flight across a changing landscape.

Congratulations to Isabella on this deserved recognition, and a big well done to our dedicated Art Department for the support and guidance behind the scenes. We can’t wait to see Isabella’s work on display at AGWA in 2026!
