A Dark Suburban Mystery
Last week, the Year 12 ATAR and General Drama students presented their 2025 Curriculum Play ‘Ruby Moon’. Part absurdism and part magical realism, the dark drama followed a set of parents and the disappearance of their daughter in what appears to be a picture-perfect neighbourhood. The truth is thrown into question as the residents of Flaming Tree Grove all try to answer the same question. What happened to Ruby?
A challenging play with mature themes and some complex production elements, the students rose to the occasion and presented a clever and engaging performance of which they can be proud!
A huge congratulations to the cast of Jasmine Mansell, Ayla Colquhoun, Georgia Plant, Maya Sharp, Ruby Devereux, Olivia Dando, Kendall Chin, Ruby Spath and Skye Mirfield, as well as student crew Kurtis Worth and Karan Pawar. Special thanks to the St Mark's Arts Team for their incredible work in assisting in putting together a captivating performance!
