A message from the Acting Head of Primary School
Keeping our kids safe
The safety of our students is always our highest priority, particularly during the busy drop-off and pick-up times before and after school. With a high volume of vehicles and pedestrians accessing our school grounds each day, it is essential that all members of our community work together to ensure these times run as safely and efficiently as possible.
For parents and carers using St Mark’s Drive, we ask that you please be mindful of the following:
Morning Drop-Off
Please move quickly through the drop-off zone. This area is designed for short stops only, and no car should remain in this zone for more than a minute. Keeping the flow of traffic moving ensures that all families can access the area and helps prevent unnecessary congestion caused by vehicles waiting for extended periods.
Parking in No Standing Areas
We have noticed an increase in cars parking in ‘No Standing’ zones. This creates significant safety concerns, making it difficult for traffic to move freely and safely through the area. It also impacts the ability of Transperth buses to access the school and collect our students.
Instead of parking in these restricted areas, we kindly ask that you use available parking around Muzz Buzz and walk down to collect your children.
We appreciate your cooperation and support in helping to keep our school a safe environment for all students, families, and staff.
Kind regards
Mark Pressley
Acting Head of Primary School
