The Cake Stall is calling for volunteers to bake cakes, slices, confectionery and similar yummy goodies for the Stall. We welcome all sorts of treats. Please note that there are food safety guidelines that we are required to meet, and as such, we are unable to accept or sell any item that would require refrigeration. So unfortunately, we cannot accept any items that include fresh cream or custard, such as custard tarts, milk tarts and or peppermint tarts.
Please take note of the following ESSENTIAL requirements. Donated items must be:
- clearly labelled with a list of ingredients
- on sturdy disposable plates or other suitable packaging
- covered with plastic wrap or similar
Volunteers will be in the Ken Fairfield Hall to accept your baked delights on Friday 22 March after school (from 3.30pm to 5.30pm) and prior to the Fete on Saturday 23 March (from 8am to 10am).
Remember that you can claim parent hours for your baking. The guideline is one hour per cake/batch of cupcakes/biscuits or slices.
