As a way of encouraging excellence in education and rewarding high achievement, St Mark’s is offering a limited number of Academic Scholarships for students entering Year 6 in 2021.
We are inviting families who have students who are currently Year 5 (at any school) to consider registering for the 2021 program. Applications close on Friday 14 February 2020.
Up to four scholarships are available, with partial tuition fee remission. The number of scholarships awarded each year (and the percentage of tuition fee remission) is at the discretion of the School Council.
The Scholarships are awarded on the performance of the student in the scholarship examination. Shortlisted candidates may also be interviewed prior to final selection of Scholarship recipients. Scholarships will be awarded for the students’ entire Secondary School career at St Mark’s, subject to ongoing review.
The testing will be conducted independently by Academic Assessment Services at St Mark’s on Saturday 22 February 2020.
A Registration Fee of $90 will be charged by Academic Assessment Services for each child sitting the examination. Please note that an additional fee of $50 will be incurred for late registrations. Your registration will be confirmed by Academic Assessment Services.
The successful Scholarship recipients will automatically be offered enrolment at the School. Applications can be made via the home page of the School website. Additional information on the examination and key dates is available online.
If you have any other queries regarding the 2021 Academic Scholarship Program, please email email@example.com or call (08) 9403 1342.
Top Tip! Not sure about the log in screen? Here's what you need to know:
This is the direct link to the application page.
If you have not previously used the system, the starting point is the blue button labelled ‘Continue’ located towards the bottom of the page (green arrow). During the registration process, you will be able to set up your own password. Please note that the passwords you receive for the Igloo Parent Portal and/or SEQTA do not work for the Scholarship application, as the Scholarship administration is handled by Academic Assessment Services, who manage the process on our behalf.
On the left hand side of the screen there is a log in section, but that is only for parents who have previously logged in (red arrow). For example, if they are going back to add additional information to complete an application for 2021, or they had registered a different child for a previous scholarship.
Red Arrow = returning users
Green Arrow = new registrations
