Our Performing Arts staff and students are definitely missing their time on stage. To cure their blues, we are running a mini-retrospective of some past productions.
Flashback to 2019 when Senior School students took to the stage for their production of God of Carnage. It was great to have students across year groups working together, learning from each other and making new friends.
God of Carnage (originally in French, Le Dieu du carnage) is play by Yasmina Reza. The play is about two sets of parents, one of whose child has hurt the other at a public park. They agree to meet to discuss the matter in a civilised manner. However, as the evening progresses, the parents become increasingly childish, resulting in the evening devolving into pure chaos. It is a comedy of manners, without the manners!
