2019 Book Lists

Early Learning

There are no book list requirements for Kindergarten, Pre-Primary and Year 1.  Instead, a book list levy will be added to your Term 1 2019 Fee Account.  The levies remain the same as they were in 2018. The charges are as follows:

  • Kindergarten - $80
  • Pre-Primary - $130
  • Year 1 -$200

Junior School

There are no booklist requirements for Years 2 and 3.  Instead, a book list levy will be added to your Term 1 2019 Fee Account. The levies remain the same as they were in 2018. The charges are as follows:

  • Year 2 - $200
  • Year 3 - $200

For Years 4 and 5, all orders must be placed online at www.campion.com.au by Friday 7 December 2018, using KM87 as your code. Orders can still be placed past the return date but it may incur a late fee.

Technology in Years 3 to 5

St Mark's is committed to integrating technology into the learning environment to enhance and transform learning experiences. In light of this, the School has recently updated our School-leased devices in Years 3, 4 and 5. Find out more

Uniform Requirement for Years 2 to 5

Please note that all students will be required to have the new school uniforms for the start of 2019. We strongly advise that parents visit the Uniform Shop as soon as possible, to avoid the back to school rush. To assist parents with this, the Uniform Shop has extended its trading hours for Term 4.  Find out more

Middle School

For Years 6 to 8, all orders must be placed online at www.campion.com.au by Friday 7 December 2018, using KM87 as your code. Orders can still be placed past the return date but it may incur a late fee.

Please note that if you purchased a lock for your child in Year 6, you will not need to purchase a new one for 2019 unless yours is lost or damaged. The lock included on the booklist is primarily for students who will be new to St Mark's in 2019. 

Technology in Year 6, 2019

In 2018 the Middle School launched the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) program for all Year 6 and 7 students as part of a multi-staged plan to align each of the sub-schools. As we continue the path of providing students opportunities to further develop their 21st century skills and be industry ready, we are committed to integrating technology into the learning environment to enhance and transform learning experiences. Find out what this means for you.

In 2019, your child will be entering Senior School and will be required to ensure they have a device that meets St Mark’s minimum specifications. This will enable us to continue providing students opportunities to further develop their 21st Century skills through integrating technology into the learning environment to enhance and transform learning experiences. Middle & Senior School Technology: Calculators

Students requiring a graphics or scientific calculator (predominantly students from Years 8 to 12) have the option of purchasing calculators via Abacus or via Campion. Abacus is offering a special deal to St Mark's families and is offering the calculators at a discounted price.  Ordering instructions are available in the linked documents: 

Sustainable School Shop

BUY AND SELL SECOND HAND TEXT BOOKS

Sustainable School Shop makes the online buying and selling of second hand text books a quick and easy process.  It was first introduced at St Mark’s in 2013 and since then nearly 6,500 items have been traded! 

The P&F is once again funding full membership to Sustainable School Shop for the School community. This service is most relevant to families in Middle and Senior school. Families who registered last year have had their memberships extended. Please take the time to check whether your existing listings are current.

New registrations are encouraged via www.sustainableschoolshop.com.au  Simply register your details and nominate St Mark’s Anglican Community School as the school attended.
