Second Hand Book Sales

Sustainable School Shop makes the online buying and selling of second hand text books a quick and easy process.  It was first introduced at St Mark’s in 2013 and since then nearly 4,000 items have been traded!

The P&F is once again funding full membership to Sustainable School Shop for the School community. This service is most relevant to families in Middle and Senior School. Families who registered last year have had their memberships extended. Please take the time to check whether your existing listings are current.

New registrations are encouraged via www.sustainableschoolshop.com.au  Simply register your details and nominate St Mark’s Anglican Community School as the school attended. Plan to reuse and recycle this year with Sustainable School Shop.

Technology

We have recently concluded an extensive classroom technology review for all year groups across St Mark's. As a result, we are pleased to announce that from 2018, the Year 6 and Year 7 students will join the Senior School’s Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program. As 2018 will be a transition year for the students in Middle School, the Year 8 students will continue to be part of the iPad program and there is no obligation or expectation to buy a new device for 2018.

While you will have a choice of device for your student to use, we have placed minimum specifications required for the device, and we have made some recommendations for you to assist you in making your device decision. Find out more

With our Technology Partnership with HP and MSS we are pleased to be able to offer a suitable HP device that we have trialed and tested that meets the School's requirements. To purchase the recommended device please click on this link and follow the easy steps. For information on the bundle deals, please see this note.
